Academic Nurses was started by a male student nurses on December 2007, he found looking for research on the internet and nursing related information a long process of 'site jumping'. As a result, in his third year he began developing this site. Six months later his colleagues got really excited about his concept for a one stop student nurses resource centre and began to offer their support for this site.
Academic Nurses now has a team of 10 student nurses developing this site, if you wish to contribute please contact us.
Funding
Academic Nurses is provided free of charge to all its users, as a result funding for keeping the site online relies on advertising etc. Academic Nurses includes adverts provided by Google Adsense and Adbrite and well as a commission based book store provided by amazon to cover hosting costs.
Banner Exchange
The development of the site requires users to actively participate in the site and we rely heavily on visitors, as a result the administration team have included Academic Nurses in several link exchange programs. The link exchanges are placed within the "Links" section and Academic Nurses take no responsibilty for the content contained within the external sites.
